Roberto Alagna and Tongue Retraction

Another singer, who is probably considered the best lyric tenor to sing from the early 1990's, with clear tongue retraction. In his prime he was fantastic, only later to lose it most likely due to bad coaching and inappropriate role selection. There is a consistent space between the bottom teeth and tip of the tongue which is properly retracted. Again, this flies in the face of voice teachers who proclaim the tip of the tongue should be held behind the bottom teeth such as David Jones.
